After this has happened, users will wonder if low carb diets work and will answer that they do, but not how they would like them to.
The second reason low-carb diets work but easily fail is that most of the time the weight lost through dieting is not pounds of pure body fat. Most likely, and especially when first starting a low-carb diet, most of the weight lost is water weight. Water weight is the weight your body needs and with any diet you should strive to lose pounds of pure fat. This is another example of the fact that low-carb diets work, but not in the way that many people would expect.
Most people want to look different permanently, but try diets that they can’t stick to permanently.
