Almost everyone wants to be taller because it adds flavor to physical beauty. I was so desperate to get taller when a friend, who happened to be a professional fitness trainer, said that abs and other body muscle exercises can help me grow. So I engage in vigorous physical activities to effectively exercise my muscles. Imagine, not only will I enjoy firmer muscles, I will also have a taller body.
How do abdominal exercises help?
Abdominal exercises are a vital method to increase my height naturally. Strong abdominal muscles can help us to be taller because the vigor of our abdominal muscles has direct contact with the muscular strength of our lower back.
We can have a good posture if our lumbar muscles are in good condition. If we have weak abs and lower back muscles, we also have poor posture that can lower our height. Our spine can be flexible if our lumbar muscles are strong. Remember, the strength of our spine is an important key in our growth. If we exercise our abdominal muscles, we will have extra weight on our abdomen. This will help to pull our back and improve our posture.
Abs exercises to increase height
These are two exercises to increase my height that helped me. I guess they will be useful to other people as well. These exercises are great when added to an abdominal exercise program to get all the abdominal muscles to improve. Don’t forget that as you improve your abdominal muscles, you also improve your back.
1. Lower abs
This exercise will target the lower abdominal muscles. Your muscles will be stronger, so you will have a better posture in the lower back. You can perform this exercise on the floor or on a bench.
Your back should be flat on the ground and your knees should be bent at a 45-degree angle. Help your knees slowly come up to your chest by contracting your lower abs. Stay at it for about five seconds. Then slowly return to the starting position. Repeat this exercise at least 15 times.
2. Leg raises
The hip or leg lift is an effective follow-up to the lower abs exercise. You will further improve lower back strength as you tone your abdominal muscles.
This is an easy and effective exercise. I was able to increase my height by doing leg raises. You will feel the effect of this exercise as you work your lower back and abdominal muscles.
Lie down on the floor to prepare for this exercise. You should extend your legs up so that it is perpendicular to your body. Raise your hips three to five inches off the floor while pushing your lower abs up. Keep your feet straight while lifting.
Lower your hips gently as you return to the starting position. Repeat this exercise 15 times.
If I increased my height naturally through abs exercises, then there is no reason why I can’t. But more than exercising, you must also maintain a healthy lifestyle. It will be a huge waste of time if you continue to exercise without improving your lifestyle. So good luck and enjoy the taller you are.
