choices If there is one thing that is constant in the world, it is that we all have choices. Some options are very easy: paper or plastic, black or white socks today, take the scenic route home, or fight traffic. Some options are a bit more difficult: boxers or briefs (for men, this is a difficult choice; for women, not so much), Chinese or Mexican restaurant, American or imported car. Of course, there are life-changing decisions we have to make: which college to send the kids to, where to live, what career to choose, whether to change careers midway or not. There is a spectrum of choice on which all decisions must be placed.
While it doesn’t seem so obviously difficult in career or college options, finding the right bedding for the bedrooms in your home can be moderately difficult. After all, you’ll be sleeping in whatever you choose for a long, long time, so the choice you make should take that into account. That can also be said about the actual bed you sleep on, the furniture, the curtains, the kitchen theme, the bathroom decor, etc.
Most of the time the choice comes down to cost. Do you want to pay for quality bedding? It may not be a problem for you if money is not an issue. But it should also be based on how you want to feel about yourself. Can my choice of bedding help in that? Absolutely. If you choose to lie down night after night on a standard permanent press king-size sheet, it means you don’t want to think about what you want to sleep on. However, if you choose to buy a more expensive but luxurious satin or silk sheet for that bed of yours, it’s a small and subtle way to pamper yourself and your partner every night you lie there.
You deserve the best no matter what bedding you choose. Will the sun still rise tomorrow if you choose economy over comfort? Absolutely. But with luxury bedding under your back, the sun will be out in style!
