The reality is, in most cases, constituents focus on the actions of a leader and genuine integrity, especially when faced with challenges! They want someone who does the right thing, rather than a convenient, least-resistance path! Someone, telling you, by their personal actions, Do what I say, not what I do not someone, leading, by example!
2. Path of Least Resistance: Often times, there may be a way to proceed that is simpler, easier, and much less time consuming than seeking the highest degree of personal excellence. If you want others to listen and believe you, it is essential that you earn their trust, avoiding the same – old, same – old way, and, rather, proceeding with an open mind, to make a difference. , for the best! Simply because something may be a path, of least resistance, it does not make it the best way to go!
3. Insufficient commitment / discipline: Great leaders must proceed, with a significant degree of personal commitment, accompanied by discipline and endurance, to do what is best, rather than what is convenient / easy.
Four. Insufficient professional leadership planning: Few organizations prioritize professionally designed / created leadership planning / training programs in order to develop the best, possible, and relevant leaders. These programs must include both the usual and specific needs related to the organization.
5. Character quality: Although, there is no such thing, as a born leader, and, most of the assets, necessary, must be trained, taught and developed, it is essential, to start with an individual, who has the quality of character, to put others. – First, ahead of your personal / political agenda, and / or your own interest!
